Dr. Patricia L. (Patti) Gregg

Dr. Patricia L. (Patti) Gregg is supporting the Office of Institutional Effectiveness through the transition to a new Director. She recently retired from Georgia State University after almost 20 years in various assessment, institutional research and strategic planning roles. With over 40 years of higher education teaching, research and administration experience, Patti holds a Ph.D. in higher education from the Pennsylvania State University, an M.B.A from the University of South Florida, and a B.S. in Education from Boston University. She has participated in SACSCOC accreditation processes at 3 institutions in Georgia, and has served as the institutional effectiveness evaluator and lead QEP evaluator on both on- and off-site review teams for SACSCOC.  Patti chairs the Professional Development Committee for the Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education (AALHE) and actively participates in the American Evaluation Association. She consults as a Federally-funded grant evaluator and serves as a citizen volunteer on her local community’s Planning and Zoning Board. Patti also serves as an online lecturer for Sam Houston State University’s M.A. in Higher Education program, and spent 3 years as a program director at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
